The Design Shop offers superb objects based on original designs from Biedermeier, Vienna 1900 and the Bauhaus. In addition, the Neue Galerie collaborates with renowned contemporary designers to create original pieces inspired by the museum’s collection.
Summer 2026
While the Book Store and Design Shop remain open online 24/7, the Neue Galerie – including the galleries, shops, and Café Sabarsky – is closed for the summer. We are undertaking a multi-phased construction project to enhance our historic building and fortify it for the future. Our doors will reopen in Autumn 2026.
