Online Purchases in the Museum Shops
When you order a product from the Museum’s online shops, you will be asked to provide personally identifiable information necessary to fulfill your order. This information may include your name, billing and shipping addresses, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card information so that we may process your order. Your credit card information will be used only as needed to process your transaction.
We require your e-mail address so that we can communicate with you if we have difficulty processing your order or request, and send you order and shipping confirmation e-mails.
When you make a purchase, your credit card information will be stored temporarily on a secure server, and we will retain the personally identifiable information you provided with your order for our records, to facilitate customer service, and to inform you of our products and promotional offers.
Online Purchase of Cabaret, Lecture, and Other Event Tickets
When you purchase tickets for any of the Museum’s public programs, including lectures and cabaret performances, you will be asked to provide personally identifiable information necessary to process and service your ticket purchase. This information may include your name, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card number. Your credit card information will be used only as needed to process your transaction.
We require both your telephone number and your e-mail address so that we can communicate with you if we have difficulty processing your order or request, so that we may send you your reservation confirmation, and so that we may notify you in the unlikely event that the event is cancelled.

Online Membership and Donations
When you purchase a Museum membership or make a donation to the Museum online, you will be asked to provide personally identifiable information necessary to process your membership and/or to acknowledge your contribution. This information may include your name, billing and shipping addresses, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card information so that we may process your order. Your credit card information will be used only as needed to process your transaction.
Your credit card information will be stored temporarily on a secure server, and we will retain the personally identifiable information you provided with your order for our records, so that we may notify you about upcoming exhibitions, correspond with you about your membership, and (if applicable) send you invitations to opening receptions and related special events at the Museum.
Museum Newsletters
As a service, the Museum offers visitors to the Site the opportunity to subscribe to one or more of our e-mail newsletters. This service is hosted by a contractor that has agreed to use the e-mail address you provide only to send Museum newsletters to you. If you choose to subscribe, you will receive the Museum newsletter on the topics you select. You may opt out at any time by following the "unsubscribe" instructions included in the e-mail messages.
If you have provided your e-mail address during an online transaction, the Museum may periodically send you e-mails in order to inform you of events or activities at the Museum that we believe may be of interest to you, or to alert you about sales or other promotional events at the Museum shops. If you do not want us to use your e-mail address to contact you for these purposes, please send an e-mail message containing your name and postal address to museum@neuegalerie.org.
E-mailing the Museum
If you e-mail the Museum, your message and e-mail address may be saved by the Museum. Any message, material, business information, ideas, concepts, or other information sent to the Museum by e-mail will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary.
Google Analytics
The Museum automatically collects some anonymous, non-personally identifiable aggregate information about visitors via Google Analytics. This information is used for statistical purposes and to help us monitor how guests navigate the Site, allowing us to tailor our services for specific groups of visitors. Non-personally identifiable information may refer to information about our visitors’ browsers, operating systems, Internet Service Providers, traffic patterns, and related information.
Cookies

Children Twelve and Under

The Museum makes every reasonable effort to ensure the security of transactions that occur on the Site, and to protect personal and non-personally identifiable information that it receives via the Internet against unauthorized access. However, due to the inherent nature of the internet as an open global communications vehicle, the Museum cannot guarantee that information will be absolutely safe from intrusion by others, such as hackers.
