Free Access to explore Masterworks from the Collection

Neue Galerie New York is open late to the public free of charge on select Fridays from 5 to 8 p.m., offering access to the galleries free of charge. All galleries will be open, including “Austrian Masterworks from the Neue Galerie” and “German Masterworks from the Neue Galerie.” The Book Store, Design Shop, and Café Sabarsky remain open late as well.

Kindly note that the July 2025 First Friday takes place on Friday, July 11 as the Neue Galerie is closed for Independence Day on Friday, July 4. Please expect to wait in line outside of the museum for entry. Admission will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that our Visitor Policies remain in effect for First Fridays, and that children under 12 will not be admitted.
